I've never done any political art before, so this is my first. It's easier to understand by reading this Description..
The broken bottom part of the hourglass is signifying that the sand pouring out can never gained back. "one can't simply turn the hourglass over to make everything right again"
I'm not into politics or anything like that. and I'm not trying to make a big statement to get attention..
I feel I haven't posted anything in a while so I thought I would post this one before fixing it up in photoshop.
this is like a phantom, ghost, supernatural character, I'm glad I went with that type of cloak design.

I mean your point is right once the sand is out of the glass you cant really put it back in. i think this one deserves a coloring with a faded memories background to help reflect the sand's representation. the contrast between the background and 'reaper' should be high as memories would be lightly colored.
