I Want to Sculpt

Journal Entry: Fri May 2, 2008, 4:16 PM
I saw the first showing of Iron Man, and absolutely loved it. I highly suggest making plans to go see it, and Soon.. the humor in it was great. it was at all the right areas and not over done. I don't want to spoil anything but I love the robots in there. if you've seen it or when you see it You'll know what I mean.

After watching a bunch of One-Vox's tutorials on Youtube I was inspired to do more digital painting and I have. I upgraded myself to now using Photoshop CS. I missed using the various tool and layer options that Elements doesn't have..
I also watched some of Peter Konig ( [link] ) amazing sculpture work. I love the artists of Massive black and Concept.org. I also watch some of John Brown's work which was very inspiring as well. I highly suggest looking up MassiveDVD on Youtube.. I really enjoyed watching my favorite artist Andrew Jones, and hearing what his voice sounded like.

I have grey-green, No. 3 Medium Firm, Roma Italian Plastilina, and Creative Paperclay. as well as colored Polymer clay. that is 8 of the primary colors, so I have black and red to make Stitches. the pack is 454 grams (16 oz) the product is made from Premo! Sculpey.

I have a pretty good idea on what I should make but not sure on what material I should use.

I forgot to mention something...

I've found a hidden talent of mine. well I call it a talent because I've never tried it before and it's going exactly the way I intended in my mind..
I've been making my own Custom sculpting tools.. I have a bunch of tools already but theres something about the custom ones I love..
it's like having Custom brushes for photoshop.. so I can do special textures and details. I even drew out how to make the tools. XD

I Have 3 things in mind for what to make....
.
__ 1. Do a Bust Sculpture of Jackal. Which is easier dealing with larger shapes
.
.
__2. A portrait sculpture with a "Scene" style to it depicting Stitches breaking free of Dark matter as seen in this picture which would be harder then the other options due to the small details of the dark matter
.
.
__3. A portrait sculpt of Stitches coming through a wall. I like this idea because I know exactly how to make it

Moving Forward

Journal Entry: Fri Apr 25, 2008, 9:55 PM
Things Are going really great.. I'm really excited, because I just started a new Volker Drawing and it's looking so good that I keep stopping to stare at it :excited: .... Some like Stitches better than Volker but I love em because he's a really really old character of mine, so it's great to see him with a fresh new style.

I finished :iconneo-wolf06: 's birthday gift and will be posting it soon after I submit this entry.
I'm really getting into doing digital painting. I want to post a Gothic version of -Deity-'s design. When I say Gothic I mean like a Gothic church with arches.. but I won't be submitting soon.. I want to work on it a great deal more.

I have a few ideas for a great "Thank You" image for my 20,000 pageview, but I haven't been able to paint it.. I guess I'll try to draw it on paper first...

Also My writing teacher is letting me illustrate for my Essay and the best part is my essay gets to be how Stitches came to be.. I have the story all planed out in my head.. It's going to be superb.

I have a few creature designs I'm working on. one is a type of monster can't really explain what kind because it has such an interesting anatomy design. For some reason I can't explain I find it cute when theres nothing cute about it..

Still working on coloring the "Cancer Remake" picture. It's taking me awhile because I want it to look just right. which is why I have a hard time with most of my Novel characters.. I have a very distinct idea in my head for the way I want things to look in my novel. Which is why if someone wanted to make a movie, anime, manga, comic out of it I would be extremely strict.

the last thing I want is for someone to take my work and make into something like AVP or the straight to DVD Starship troopers 2.. awww man that movie sucked. the only thing good about it was the CG work.

Refreshing

Journal Entry: Sun Apr 13, 2008, 1:47 PM
I went on a 15 mile bike ride with my father up to Council Crest on a perfect day .. 74 degrees in the sun shine. (it wasn't an easy bike ride, it was up hill the whole way up) Council crest is a spot that over looks Portland, all 3 or 4 mountains were visible,(Mt. Hood, Mt. Saint Helens, Mt. Adams, and I think Mt. Rainier) the spot has a historic background of an event on 1898 if I remember correctly.

I kept thinking of the techno song "It's A Fine Day, by ATB"
I'm skinny but I'm still out of shape cause I've been inside drawing and talking to the folks on DA :3 ... My legs were so dead at the end of the ride, but I still felt great. As my dad put it, "It's a good kind of tired"
and he's right...

The greatest part was the way back. cause all the work we put in to get up those mean hills pays off when we're going at least 40+ miles an hour. every now and then looking to the right to see all the people stuck in traffic traveling the opposite way, barely going 5 mph..

We didn't even plan on going up to the council crest. I was pretty much spent on leg power on the normal bike route him and Mom would take. but he told me about the view and what it was like up there.. and I said "sure, where you go I'll follow"

on a side note I started having trouble drawing new stuff again but that didn't last long after I remember that I would draw some character that didn't have to have a specific story or meaning to them for Project Pandora, their just concepts..
so I have a few new concepts going.

I have a few great Stitches ideas, but I'm still trying to translate them onto paper or Photoshop.. Including a new Jackal design.

I'm also going to be making a Stitches sculpture out a material that hasn't been decided yet.

theres also a Digital painting I'm doing for :iconneo-wolf06:

Reason behind Stitches Grin

Journal Entry: Mon Apr 7, 2008, 7:02 PM
well it turns out Stitches was defeated in :iconevil-stan:'s OC battle. Hell Colored Glass: A Study In Brutal Survivalism.
So I'm going to illustrate how Stitches would react..
I'm prefectly fine with this. I lost no biggy. I'm just using this an excuse to draw one of Stitches forms where he's really angry and utterly out of control..
XD He will pretty much destroy anything cought in his line of sight..
....maybe even draw stitches taking his madness out on Gorger

even though I feel that still no one really gets how powerful Stitches is. it's odd I would write that when Stitches came in contact with others that they would underestimate him. I didn't expect people to do it in real life XD..
he has a lot of abilities because he's two extremely dangerous and powerful beings fused together. what's scary is that he knows this. He's over confident for good reason.

for an example, take any soul reaper from the anime bleach, and Stitches would be able to kill them without even trying. I haven't seen all of bleach but knowing Stitches I'm sure he could mope the floor with anyone... I know that's a pretty arrogant statement. but it's hard to beat something that can wield a force that turns anything it touches into nothing.

it's like the part in Terminator 2 when they teleport in that sphere. all the stuff that was in the spot where the sphere appeared was de-atomized.

even if an opponent is some how able to dodge the Dark energy attacks they still have to find a way to hit Stitches collar without touching any other part of his body... I've said it once and I'll say it again.. Stitches entire body can be used as a weapon. and can take other matter and make it his own.. plus, it's really hard to hit something that can move at insane speeds, is only 3 feet tall, defies gravity, and can travel through solid mass..

and those are mostly just his Phantom attacks..

the Demon side of Stitches has killed more beings than cancer. how else did he get the rank of General. He was even known to kill off his own kind just because he could. no reason for why, he just did it. He's crazy.
His hell fire can't be extinguished with normal water.

Stitches is like the greatest mastermind nemesis that enjoys getting his hands dirty.

I repeat I'm not mad or upset. I'm trying to explain Stitches more. So people can get a better idea of what Stitches is like.
